Food&Faith iX: Dialogue Between Muslims and Jews

Join Muslim and Jewish students and community members for an informal exploration of cultural and religious points of contact. Enjoy tasty samples of traditional Jewish and Muslim dishes while learning about commonalities between the Jewish and Muslim dietary laws, healing foods, traditions of fasting, and much more.

There will be plenty of time for Q&A, and small group discussion.

Rabbi Joseph Rosen of Kahol Kadosh Beth Elohim on Hasell Street, ImamEdward Washington of Masjid Al-JamiAr-Rasheed on Hugo Street, and Dr.Elijah Siegler, Professor of ReligiousStudies and President of the Charleston Interreligious Council, will guide this important dialogue.
