Islamic Art: A shared heritage lecture: September 24, 1-2pm
The Charleston Interreligious Council is delighted to offer a Series on Spirituality and Art this Fall.
This lecture is the first of the series and will serve as an excellent introduction to the month-long events. Dr. Khawaja Azimuddin, founder of the Islamic Art Society, will talk with us about how the art and architecture of different faiths intertwine and coexist.
All are welcome, no registration needed.
Dr. Azimuddin will follow his lecture with a workshop on Islamic Calligraphy, from 2-3pm. To register for the workshop, click here.
