No Hate, No Fear Solidarity Rally
Sunday, January 12th, 4 pm
Synagogue Emanu-El (5 Windsor Drive, Charleston SC)
In light of the ongoing and persistent anti-Semitic attacks in the Northeastern U.S., it's time for us to come together and demonstrate our collective resolve. Our Charleston Jewish community is organizing a solidarity rally, Sunday, January 12th, 4 pm at Synagogue Emanu-El (5 Windsor Drive, Charleston SC) under the banner "No Hate, No Fear."
We are calling on community leaders and citizens of all backgrounds to join us. In times like these, we need to take action and send a clear message to policymakers and civic leaders that fighting antisemitism is their solemn duty.
Program is in formation with more speakers forthcoming; confirmed speakers include Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg, Charleston Police Chief Luther Reynolds, SC Representative Wendell Gilliard, and US Representative Joe Cunningham.
